PACIFIC TRAILER CLUB

Oldest RV Club in Continuous operation since 1941

Southern California

About Us

We have Rv's, Motorhomes, Trailers, Campers & 5th Wheels in our club. We have maintained a continuous active program since 1941. The club meets monthly, except for July and August, at various RV parks around Southern California. Although most of us are retired and have varied interests , we have younger people in our group as well. Our kids and Our kids and grandkids are welcome to join us on an outing whenever they wish as well as any friends. Come join us if you are looking for a relaxing diversified group to spend time with.

Our Outings

Our outings are planned well in advance so people can plan ahead. We go out on the fourth weekend of most months, but in May and November, when we have holidays to consider, we schedule our outings for the third weekend of the month. We do not travel in December, but have a Christmas luncheon, usually the first Saturday in December, at a local restaurant. We are a very friendly group who enjoy our various vehicles and each other and look forward to our outings. Our membership is divided into four teams which take turns planning the events.

Friday evening is usually free for relaxing and visiting. Many of our members like to go to a local restaurant for dinner that night.

Saturday morning we have a coffee hour with "goodies" followed by a brief and informal meeting. Saturday afternoon is free to do as you wish. Some people like to relax, read, visit. Others like to sightsee in the area. Occasionally there will be a craft project for anyone who is interested.

Saturday evening we have a potluck followed by games (Mexican Train is popular here) or a program of some kind.

Sunday morning there is devotions for anyone interested in attending.

Our Charity

We have enjoyed contributing to GUIDE DOGS OF AMERICA. We recycle our aluminum cans and plastic bottles and send in that money. Rather than sending each other Christmas cards, we pool the money we would have spent on cards and postage and give that to GUIDE DOGS, too. It's amazing how quickly that little bit of money adds up, and it goes toward such a worthy cause.

Our Special Events

In addition to our regular outings, members sometimes get together to go on special trips. Recently, a group went to Quartzite and another time a group went to Death Valley and had a great time.
